[#1] Fave Free Image Editors - SUMOPAINT
Everyone uses Photoshop these days, but then, how many of you actually buys it? And there are time when our computer lags a lot that it takes hours to load Photoshop, when you only want to edit one simple image. Been there, done that. There are a few good editors out there, but some needs you to download it, just like Photoshop. But here, we will list you our favourite "emergency" Photoshop which you can use to edit your images online, without having to download them. For this update, we will introduce you to SumoPaint!
We just found this recently, but totally worth to be listed here. Sometimes, our favourite online editor can't be loaded, due to heavy traffic so we need to find other alternatives, so SumoPaint is the answer! For someone who uses Photoshop the whole time, the interface looks familiar, with a few additional buttons on the left side of the area. What we like about this editor is its shape tool. There are so many to choose from, and they give you lots of shapes and styles option in each shape.
The other buttons are somewhat easy to find and manage, and for those who never uses Photoshop before, Sumo seems to be a good start to try your editing skill. However, there are some limitations for Guests, whereby you only get to have up to six layers per canvas. So, you need to register and log in to get more privilege.
Here are the interface while we created a banner featuring BTS, and also the result of the image that we edited using SumoPaint, made within 5 minutes!
One of the tutorials on the Youtube channel:
LIKES:
- It loads fast - probably because it loads only when you click on it or when you need it.
- Lots of options and editing buttons, despite using the Guest version.
- There are ads, but it won't disrupt you when you're working on your canvas.
- If you are too lazy to register, you can log on via your FB or Twitter account.
DISLIKES:
- No right-click option. We need to wander at first, where is the option to replace the right-click on Photoshop, and turned out it is on top of the status bar. But once you know where is it, it is easy for you.
Go on, try it out! Do share with us your comments or your thoughts about this editor, and share your artwork made using Sumo Paint too!
